My Bus Pirate freezes and becomes unresponsive when trying to use the device. I tried this firmware, but still have the same issue.
Hi @anondev137!
Thank you so much for the bug report, Iām sorry about the issue.
Does the Bus Pirate function at all?
- Do the LEDs light?
- Does the display work?
- Does the USB connect with 2 COM ports and 1 storage device?
- Are you able to connect to the command line terminal?
In what cases does it become unresponsive?
I believe the office forwarded me your messages from the contact form, is this PulseView related? If so:
- What operating system are you using?
- What version of PulseView are you using?
I recently added some documentation on the various logic analyzer modes.
I 'm not on the support team, But it would be helpful if you explain exactly what you are doing and what you see. What OS are you using? What happens when you plug the BP in? Does the BP do anything after plugged in? Can you connect to it? Which software are you using to connect to it? Do you see any file systems mounted on your OS?
And perhaps a very important question - if you press and hold the button on the bottom while plugging it it, do you see the RPI-RP2 file system? If this is true - you can always load new firmware.
Hi @anondev137, just wanted to follow up and see if we can get this sorted.
