Bus Pirate v6 in Action at ECSC Training Camp

This year I’m the hardware-hacking (practical part) trainer for the Spanish team at the ECSC.

The European Cybersecurity Challenge is an initiative by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) that aims to develop cybersecurity talent across Europe and connect high-potential individuals with industry-leading organizations. National cybersecurity teams made up of the 10 best talents aged between 14 and 25 take part in the competition, which is held annually in one of the European countries.

The tool I’ve chosen for their training and the challenges has obviously been a Bus Pirate v6.

Here’s a photo of the training — you can spot the Bus Pirates (Zoom in+++)

I wish them the best of luck!

Thanks to Gabriel Gonzalez (Director Hardware Security IOActive) for trusting me to handle the practical part of the workshop!

Very cool - good way to get the next generation into hardware, too!
