5 is going great and is in high volume production at a pretty low cost. It’s available in the UK at Pi-Hut.
6 has some nice perks and a few are still available before we decide to do another run, but they will be gone soon I believe. This is through my thing at dirtypcbs (via China).
7 is a very casual conversation we’re having every few weeks, with no actual target date - so vaporware until something actually rolls out of the reflow oven. It’s gonna be a while because the goal is to evaluate prototypes as a community. I had to do the 6 in secret under NDA, but the group effort is so much more thought out. Don’t expect anything ever though, and if something appears it will be expensive because there’s a lot of branded single supplier parts.

Thanks for your reply. Just bought a BP5 on PiHut. Hope to put it to good use soon. I will follow any further developments. I like the idea of community development. I work with university students doing an embedded systems course, so I may feed some of my ideas in along the way. I’ll be using the BP5 in my own personal projects, though.
