This isn’t a promo or spam for my bootcamp—
I only run it in Spain, in Spanish, and it’s something small and family-style. I don’t want it to grow into something chaotic or overcrowded.
Just wanted to share a few photos of the students holding up their Bus Pirate v6s! Huge thanks to @Ian, @Jin, and the entire DirtyPCBs team for getting the Bus Pirates to me on time—you’re the best.
In the end, there were 40 students in total, and these pics only show part of the group.
They had an amazing time—the infrared command to turn off the TV was a huge hit, haha!

I suggest to connect it to PE at several points, for example with long alligator clips. Also ensure the room has a RCD an not just a regular circuit breaker.
Consider for example someones cat gnawed on an attendees laptop charger mains cable without them noticing. Then the whole area could be connected to lethal voltages.
An alternative solution could be a “no mains on the table” policy. But could be difficult to implement when you want to connect the soldering stations. Or maybe cover the tin foil with a insulating disposable table cloth.
