When I click through I see a bunch of similar options.
Hereās what I strongly suggest: ask @jin to do image search on Taobao to find the manufacturer and verify that software is available and what it is.
From experience I can tell you ali express sellers just put random stuff online and more often than not donāt actually have the software or even know it needs software.
Last time it was a baidu pan (drop box) with a text file including a link to a closed group chat and if you didnāt buy from the original manufacturer you wonāt get access.
5 to 9 USD, but I donāt think this seller has the software or its something common. Need to actually ask. Itās the China electronics universe way.
Sorry for rapid fire posting⦠You can also get new chips for 0.50 to 2usd it seems. You can just replace the uC with the more easily programmed one. If the uc is really the source of the issue I doubt itās just āthe memory is corruptā, thereās probably a reason and getting a new uC is probably the safe bet.
This here appears to be what is needed including software but the cost is high at 200 US dollars.

Throwing this in just as a āso ya knowā
Thatās the grey box Iāve seen in the past
I am pretty certain its just memory. It failed during the update that involved MCU code update. But yeah there is a possibility that it fried something because of that.
Ah, that makes more sense. I thought it was just a random stop working situation.
Its funny cuz one person from local HS also has the exact same model of UPS also bricked. And we found out that some other person has TL866 programmer that I may borrow to unbrick my unit. It has VPP up to 16V and in the specification is known to work with that MCU.
