Aprops of nothing, I want to thank you all for being an awesome community. Everyone is so welcoming. Help can be found freely without judgement. We have interesting discussions that lead to new contributions to open source. It’s been two years of “good vibes” and no ads, something that seems to be increasingly rare in our modern online world.
A huge thank you to Discourse as well. Half the nightmare of running a PHPBB forum was deleting spam posts with highly inappropriate content for our mostly wholesome tech discussions. That grinds down your humble admins a lot, but we’ve not had a single spam on discourse.
Ian I feel you deserve a lot of kudos. I have enjoyed your output from the early days of dangerous prototypes. I wish I had more time and energy to be actively involved instead of just lurking. Hopefully that will change.
The discussions are full of useful information and technical detail. All of which may be useful in the future. E.g. tools to randomly scan test points to locate a JTAG interface.
