Other boards have hats, capes, shields, wings, etc. I’ve 5 different adapter boards. Shouldn’t they have a name?

adapters
sockets
legs
I like legs but that also suggests arms, little boys that enable you access things. In this case form factor that adjusts to pinouts or voltages…

I like “plank” a lot. A PCB hanging off the side of the BP actually looks a bit like the dreaded plank sticking off the side of the ship.
Wonder if the average person would get the reference though?

I vote for plank. I agree with MS3FGX that the boards plugged into the BP look like the plank of a ship.
