@henrygab, I will check back in tomorrow (in about 12 hours). If there are any particular tests you are interested in, let me know and I’ll try to setup to test over lunch if I can manage to take one.
@ian, I’ll check to see if you’ve updated the file by chance, but the debug jig file I have is an export as one object for both peices, with the second hovering above the first. I can break it out if necessary, but I figured I’d ask if you had a separate file for each peice. Thanks in advance either way.
I’m sorry, I completely missed this comment. I’ve been checking in to see if you responded. I’ll go grab the 2Gb board and setup. I have a virgin dev workstation that the 2Gb board will be christenedwith.
Tested the latest pull request. It looks good on both 1gbit and 2gbit. Works with the existing filesystems, and also after formatting both devices. I did a quick write and read test and it seems consistent.
Will merge with main now. Future firmware will support both chips.
The update is QOL for me, thank you. I’ve been making a mess of updates to CMakeLists and repeating them three times for each build has been exhausting
Yes - that big buffer is the shared max-addressable by DMA chunk of RAM for the scope and logic analyzer.
I faught my new dev workstation longer than anticipated. Glad Ian is on it, per usual. I need to get some pointers in efficiency from both of you! @henrygab@ian
I wish I could give some… I gave up trying to get the debug adapter working, and just trusted in my experience to make forward progress on the code. I wasted two days on it, and only got to where the OpenOCD server was running from cmd-line.
I used to use gdb many years ago, but then had to learn kd (Windows), and then felt spoiled by (of all things) WinDbg, and more recently the luxury of Visual Studio’s debugger. It’s a bit a learning curve going back to gdb…
I didn’t realize you were in the U.S. With my time being tied up with work, I would have offered to ship you my board until you received yours. With you and Ian doing all the legwork, it would have made more sense for it to be in your possession.
