There has been a flurry of updates in the latest Bus Pirate firmware:
- Fix for SUMP logic analyzer mode freezing on Bus Pirate 5
- Several updates for storage bugs and usability under Linux (feedback requested)
- Internal update to how translations are handled. More tweaks to come for the translation tool chain as well.
- There is a (Windows) demo version of PulseView with support for the Follow Along Logic Analyzer mode
- A new
image
command probes bitmap image headers, and can write (correctly sized, 16bit or 24bit) BMPs to the display. - There is a new image processing Python script to dump images to c .header files for use in the firmware. This pre-formats data to significantly speed the screen draw time (and therefore the startup time) of the Bus Pirate.
I’m sure I’m leaving a bunch of stuff out, it’s been a lot. Thank you so much to all the contributors!
